My birthday is a little over a month from now and I’m thinking I’ll probably go to Columbia and just ask Robbie to throw a Mad Men-themed party (nobody even needs to know it’s a birthday party, I only care about the dressing up part).
I have this dress that I have yet to wear even though I bought it over a year and a half ago, but I think it’s close to something one of the women might wear (maybe Peggy or Betty?) and I’d love a reason to wear it since it’s from Anthropologie and was not cheap…
I’m just not sure how into Mad Men everyone is or if they’d be interested. Then again, I think people can be interested in just about anything as long as there’s alcohol involved.

- My journalism professor told us at the beginning of the semester that he was going to take attendance. He said it wouldn’t be every day, though. Well, so far it hasn’t been any day. And I just KNOW the first time I miss a class will be the first time he takes attendance because that’s just how my life works.
- I don’t have to go to my 8 a.m. tomorrow HALLELUJAH
- I wanna lose
three thirty pounds
- Sometimes I need to text people “Are you mad at me?” even when there’s no evidence that the person is mad at me or has any reason to be mad at me. I’m just perpetually paranoid that someone is mad at me and I don’t know it.
- Nighttime phone calls with Robbie make me anxious because I read too much into them. Not talkative? Couldn’t possibly be tired, must be mad at me. I guess this ties in with the above bullet.
- I think I had more bullets to write about, but the notebook where I wrote out this blog post is in the car and I’m much too lazy to go get it.

I got bored so I’m looking up my houses on Google Maps.
This is my townhouse in Athens!
And this is my parents’ house. The Volvo I used to drive is in the driveway! We don’t have that car anymore.
This was my house in Pennsylvania!
The yards at all the houses look really nice. Nicer than usual. I don’t know why that is, but I don’t think they’re usually like that.
And this is Robbie’s place in Columbia from above:
NEAT.
It’s kinda weird that there are just pictures of your houses on the internet but whatever.

I haven’t bought any sheets or pillow shams to go with it because I haven’t decided on an accent color (I don’t want all grey — too dreary, I’ll probably do a shade of purple), but I’m pretty excited about it.
