I just googled my dad.

I don’t have a very good idea of what he does. I’ve always told people he’s an electrical engineer, but he’s not according to his bio on his company’s website. Whoops. He’s a mechanical engineer, which I guess isn’t extremely different (is it?), but I still wasn’t right. He’s been working at power companies his whole adult life, so I guess electricity = electrical engineer for me or something.

Anyway, I was reading his bio (which I thought about posting but I don’t trust you guys not to copy and paste it into google so you can stalk my dad for whatever reason and then he’d probably kill me if he found out somehow) and now I’m like JFC I’m never going to be that successful! I did not inherit my dad’s work ethic.

It’s kinda nuts how much stuff I’ve found about him online, though. I could write a short research paper on him just based on google search results.
